This specimen consists of a paragonite matrix (type locale) that hosts numerous crystals of lively blue kyanite and dark reddish brown staurolite!!! The kyanite crystals have glassy luster, translucent to gemmy clarity, and great sky blue color!!! This specimen has an old catalogue number affixed as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
