Description/Interesting Notes: A rare, old time example of labradorite from Madagascar!!! Make no mistake - this old time material from Madagascar is INCREDIBLE!!! This specimen is simply amazing in person - this specimen is gemmy-translucent and shows brilliant, electric blue "labradorescence" that is so pronounced and intense that it literally looks as though it is plugged in!!! It shows stunning iridescence that almost looks like an illusion even in minimal lighting it can catch your eye from across the room!!! Very impressive example of anorthite var. labradorite indeed!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!!
