Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of lawsonite from the type locality!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of sharp, lustrous crystals of bluish lawsonite on a matrix of bluish glaucophane and green omphacite in association with a few scattered orange colored garnet crystals!!! The lawsonite is very well crystallized - with numerous complex crystals having sharp, lustrous faces and marked translucent bluish color!!! The matrix consists of a combination of platy green crystals of omphacite intergrown with oriented, bluish crystals of glaucophane!!! There are a few highly complex crystals of orange colored garnet embedded in the matrix as well!!! This specimen retains an old label from the Hardman Collection as well!!!
