Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of lazulite from Rapid Creek!!! This specimen is comprised mostly of crystalline lazulite in association with a small amount of quartz crystals and matix!!! The lazulite crystals are sharp, undamaged, and glassy!!! The crystals have gorgeous deep blue color that is quite striking in person!!! This specimen is WAY better than the pics show!!! (It should be noted that the locality on the label, "Blow River" was an early misattribution for Rapid Creek) Lots of intense blue flash!!! The crystals are pristine and undamaged with sharp faces and brilliant glassy luster - this is a particularly fine lazulite and the pics don't even come close to doing it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer and retains its original personal collection label as well!!!
