A unique and colorful example of lazurite from Chile!!! This material is quite characteristic and unlike that from any other locality!!!
This specimen consists of a cut and polished mass of lazurite that shows a gorgeous play of intense blue color swirled throughout!!!
It is difficult to fully appreciate from the pics, but in person the color is simply electric!!! The lighter colored matrix has a
slightly yellowish hue in person that really sets the blue colors off in a unique and aesthetic fashion!!! The blue coloration varies
from a classic deep "denim" blue to an electric blue that is simply amazing in person!!! Examples of lazulite from this
locality are seldom seen on the market!!! Old material!!!
