Description/Interesting Notes: A very rare example of native lead replacing plant roots from Arizona!!! This specimen came from a small find of this very unique and unusual material made decades ago!!! This material is totally natural and consists of a slightly curled group of plant roots that have been completely replaced by native lead!!! Upon close inspection with a loupe or a scope, it appears there are some minor crusts of secondary lead alteration species present as well!!! Rare and peculiar material indeed!!! These famed specimens are extremely scarce (although I had read about them before, this was the first time I have ever seen one) so don't miss out!!! This specimen is particularly thick and sturdy compared to the other pieces it was grouped with!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
