Description/Interesting Notes: An absolutely incredible, old time example of native lead from this historic locale!!! Elemental lead is quite reactive and readily decomposes into secondary lead species, as a result examples of native lead are extremely rare in nature and large, well formed crystals are exponentially more rare!!! This specimen is WAY better than the pics show!!! This specimen is one of the finest examples of native lead we have ever offered!!! It was quite difficult to capture just how fine this specimen was in the pics - in person there is much more sharp detail and pronounced crystallization!!! This specimen consists of a large, chunky, complex CRYSTAL of native lead with numerous well formed crystals of jet-black pryochroite in association!!! The crystals show sharp faces and prominent euhedral features all around!!! This is a KILLER native lead crystal indeed!!!
