Native Lead Långban, Filipstad, Värmland, Sweden 6cm x 4.08cm x 3.8cm Ex. Neil A. Wintringham Collection

Description/Interesting Notes: A rich and superb example of rare native lead from Langban!!! This specimen hosts a large and dense mass of subhedral native lead crystals perched atop matrix!!! There is a large free standing lead crystal that measures 1.8cm!!! There are several other species in association including whitish hydrocerussite on some of the lead and blackish pyrochroite forming the large black masses to the sides of the native lead!!! The matrix also hosts several unidentified species!!! Much of the matrix fluoresces orange red under SW UV and red, purple, and yellow under LW UV!!! This is a killer native lead specimen!!!
