Native Lead with Pyrochroite Långban, Filipstad, Värmland, Sweden 5.1cm x 3.7cm x 2.9cm

Description/Interesting Notes: An absolutely incredile example of rare native lead from Langban!!! We recently obtained an old stash of native lead specimens from an old museum!!! This specimen was, by an order of magnitude, THE most impressive specimens in the lot!!! This specimen consists of a large and unusually sculptural example of native lead in association with a light dusting of hydrocerussite and jet-black crystals of pyrochrosite!!! There are numerous crudely crystalline forms that create meandering spires that give this specimen a suprisingly aesthetic appearance - as far as native lead specimens go that is!!! Usually native lead specimens are quite small and usually amount to tiny lumps on matrix - this specimen is almost entirely comprised of native lead!!!
