Description/Interesting Notes: An absolutely incredile example of rare native lead from Langban!!! We recently obtained an old stash of native lead specimens from an old museum!!! This specimen exhibits some curious, crudely crystalline forms and is simply magnificent in person!!! Usually native lead specimens are quite small and usually amount to tiny lumps on matrix - this specimen is almost entirely comprised of native lead!!! There are numerous tiny black crystals of pyrochroite in association, as well as white hydrocerussite!!! Simply a superb example of this rare native elemental species!!!
