An absolutely magnificent example of leadhillite from Bisbee!!! This rare old timer is comprised almost entirely of leadhillite crystals!!! The leadhillite
crystals are present both as juxtaposed, slightly curvacious, "books" of crystals and as broad, complex tabular crystals up to 1.7cm!!! The crystals have a showy almost
pearlescent luster which actually makes for quite a striking display!!! Leadhillite specimens from Bisbee are extraordinarily scarce, and this one is magnificent!!! This specimen
retains old labels from Ward's (as well as its original specimen box), Sunshine Acres School (a very "unique" fully accredited private school - circa 1939, it was
part of the nation's first Nudist colony), and the Wintringham Collection!!!
The pics don't even come close to doing it justice!!!
