Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of this rare and sought after species from Tsumeb!!! This specimen consists of a chunky, highly complex crystal of leadhillite!!! The crystal shows some highly complex forms with sharply defined crystalline features!!! The crystal has complex, lustrous patterns on its surface while the sides of the specimen show brilliant, glassy luster on the characteristic cleavage faces!!! Upon close inspection there are several gemmy, colorless blades of cerussite in association as well as a small amount of unidentified material!!! To find ANY examples of leadhillite from Tsumeb is quite difficult, let alone well crystallized examples such as this!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
