Description/Interesting Notes: A very rare example of legrandite and koettigite from Sterling Hill!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of lively yellow legrandite in association with a small amount of pale greenish blue koettigite and jet-black grains of franklinite!!! Upon close inspection with a loupe or a scope one can see there is a significant amount of well crystallized legrandite - consisting of gemmy, glassy crystals that lay flush with the matrix!!! Simply a fantastic example of these very rare species from Sterlin Hill!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer and retains its original personal collection label as well!!!
