Description/Interesting Notes: A superb, old time example of legrandite from the type locality!!! This specimen hosts a rich, striking display of intense yellow legrandite crystals on matrix!!! The legrandite crystals are particularly thick and substantial!!! The crystals are sharp, lustrous, and complete!!! The crystals have marked clarity and intense golden yellow color!!! This specimen is literally loaded with crystals - thick, choice, prominently perched crystals!!! This specimen is a real killer in person!!! As is characteristic of the locality, there are some small smithsonite crystals in association (mostly located on the reverse, as well as scattered throughout the specimen)!!! This specimen is WAY better than the pics show!!! Old time examples from the type locality are quite scarce in comparison to the more commonly seen material from Ojuela!!!
