Description/Interesting Notes: A classic, old time example of this sought after species from the original, type locality!!! This specimen hosts numerous rosettes of bright yellow legrandite in addition to a significant cluster of intergrown crystals perched on a vuggy matrix lined with dark, amber colored smithsonite crystals!!! This is classic, old time material from the type locality that predates the finds at Ojuela!!! These old, Flor de Pena specimens are much more scarce by comparison!!! Classic material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!! We just acquired the 6000+ specimen PERSONAL collection of Tony Nikischer and there are going to be some very exciting minerals to come in the upcoming days and weeks!!!
