A unique example of lepidolite after rubellite tourmaline from Madagascar!!! This specimen hosts several intensely colored pseudomorphs of
lepidolite after rubellite tourmaline in stark white albite!!! The main crystal still retains the tourmaline crystal's sharp features but
has been completely replaced by deeply colored purplish-red lepidolite!!! The lepidolite can even be gemmy in small areas!!! There is another
reddish orange unidentified species in association with one of the pseudomorphs as well!!! This specimen is simply magnificent in person!!! This specimen needs
to be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
