Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of this rare garnet varietal from Canada!!! True examples of COLORLESS grossular garnet are quite rare indeed!!! This specimen consists of a showy spray of acicular pectolite crystals that hosts numerous razor-sharp, glassy, crystals of colorless grossular garnet!!! The crystals are so colorless that they are difficult to see in the pictures - however there are more crystals than it even appears in the pics!!! Most of the crystals are intergrown among the pectolite crystals however the largest crystal is prominently perched atop them!!! Simply a fantastic example of this unique and rare grossular garnet varietal!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!!
