A fantastic example of this rare species from Mont Saint-Hilaire!!! This specimen consists of a sharp, single crystal of
analcime that hosts a sharp, yellowish crystal of leucophanite!!! The leucophanite crystal is sharp, lustrous, and complete with a
small "sidekick" crystal in association!!! The leucophanite crystal measures 4mm and is a bit more yellow than the pictures show!!! The
analcime crystal is lustrous and sharp all around and hosts a rich spray of included aegirine crystals!!! In addition to the
aegirine, there appear to be several tiny catapleiite crystals partially included in the analcime crystal as well as a small crystal of
an unidentified, slightly pearlescent, micaceous species!!! This is simply a fantastic example of leucophanite from this famed locality!!! This specimen
was collected by Ken Hollman in 1977!!! The pics hardly to it justice!!!
