Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of this rare uranium bearing species from Colorado!!! This specimen consists of a highly complex, hoppered crystal of liebigite!!! The crystal has intense bright fluorescent yellow color that is WAY more intense than the pictures show!!! The crystal has marked translucence and well defined, highly complex faces!!! The crystal is completely terminated and displays magnificently!!! The broadest crystal face has complex, concentric hoppered features and there is another area that shows some curious skeletal features as well!!! This specimen is simply incredible in person - the color is outrageous!!! This was part of a small group of exceptional liebigite specimens from an old collection that represented some of the best crystals I have seen of the species!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
