Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of this very rare and sought after "Holy Grail" mineral species from Cornwall!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of intensely colored liroconite crystals on matrix!!! This specimen hosts sharp, lustrous, liroconite crystals prominently perched on matrix!!! There are clusters of complexly intergrown crystals as well as a prominent group of almost square-shaped crystals!!! The liroconite ranges in color from intense blue to a striking blue green!!! This specimen is much more crystalline and sharply defined than the pictures show - however their complex forms, translucence, and intense color make them difficult to capture in the pictures!!! This specimen dates to the mid 1800's!!! These specimens were found for just a short time in the mid 1800's and have been prized and highly sought after by collectors ever since!!!
