Description/Interesting Notes: A very old time example of magnetite from this historic New York locality!!! This specimen consists of a very large example of solid crystalline magnetite!!! There are numerous octahedral crystalline forms visible throughout the specimen!!! This specimen came out of an old collection and I am told it dates back to the early 1800's!!!
