Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic, old time example of magnetite and chondrodite from this famed historic locality!!! This specimen hosts numerous highly complex dodecahedral magnetite crystals in association with several complex, highly lustrous, gemmy crystals of chondrodite!!! The magnetite crystals exhibit some highly complex modifications and striations on their surfaces!!! The chondrodite crystals exhibit some highy complex faces with glassy luster and sharp detail!!! The chondrodite crystals range in size to over 2cm and have intense orange-red color with fiery gemminess!!! There are at least four other species in association as well!!! The pics hardly do this striking old time classic justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
