Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of magnetite from this classic New Jersey locale!!! This specimen consists of a large, sharp crystal of magnetite prominently perched on a small amount of matrix!!! The crystal is complete and exhibits characteristic octahedral form!!! As is common for the locality, the crystal has lustrous and complexly etched faces!!! This specimen came from the collection of noted Laurel Hill collector Ken Hogan!!!
