Description/Interesting Notes: An absolutely magnificent example of magnetite from this famous historic locale!!! This specimen consists of an exceptional cluster of large and complexly modified stepped crystals of magnetite!!! These crystals are simply giant for the locality, with the two largest crystals measuring 3.7cm and 3.4cm respectively!!! The attractive geometry and brilliant luster of the crystals' stepped faces makes for a surprisingly aesthetic specimen!!! This old time beauty displays fantastically from numerous angles!!!
