An absolutely incredible pseudomorph of magnetite after chrysotile from the famed Jeffrey Mine!!! This specimen consists of a well-formed group of chrysotile
crystals that has been completely replaced by jet-black magnetite!!! There are a few fibers of chrysotile here and there on the edges and one small translucent green
mass!!! The few pliable fibers make for an awesome compliment aside the identical fibrous forms of what is now solidified magnetite!!! The magnetite shows all the
sharpness of the originel chrysolite but also shows some complex crystalline traits coming through in certain areas!!! The "terminations" are sharp and show a patchwork of
slightly iridescent polygonal forms!!! This is one of the most unique and impressive pseudomorphs I have seen in recent memory!!! Simply a magnificent specimen and a must-see for
any pseudomorph collector!!!
