Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent example of magnetite from this classic New Jersey locale!!! This specimen hosts two razor-sharp octahedrons of jet black magnetite on matrix in association with calcite!!! This specimen was acquired from the collection of Ken Hogan, who was a prolific Laurel Hill collector!!! The main crystal on this specimen measures an impressive 2.3cm!!! This specimen was among the sharpest and most aesthetic magnetites I had seen in his collection!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
