Description/Interesting Notes: A killer, old time example of magnetite from this historic locality!!! This specimen hosts numerous sharp, striated dodecahedral crystals of magnetite on a serpentine marix!!! This specimen is WAY better than the pics show - the magnetite crystals are in magnificent condition and much more detailed than the pics show!!! The serpentine matrix appears to be partially altered in areas as well!!! Simply a magnificent example of the species for the locality!!! This specimen is in fantastic condition all around and displays gorgeously in person!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!!
