Description/Interesting Notes: An aesthetic combination of barite and malachite from the Congo!!! This specimen consists of a plate of rich, lively green malachite that hosts numerous sharp blades of barite!!! The barite crystals are sharp, bright, glassy, and gemmy!!! There are some barite crystals that are completely coated with malachite and a few that are nearly naked, however the majority of the barite crystals are just partially coated - all in a most aesthetic fashion!!! The combination of the two species makes for a visually striking specimen that is simply gorgeous in person!!! However, these pictures don't come anywhere close to doing it justice!!! The malachite is a rich, lively green - the barite crystals are brilliant, and this specimen is complete and pristine!!! Simply a magnificent example of this aesthetic combo!!!
