Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic, old time example of malachite after azurite from Mexico!!! This specimen hosts a striking cluster of finely bladed azurite crystals that have been almost completely replaced by lively green malachite - leaving striking accents of bright royal blue behind!!! The crystals are sharp and lustrous - radiating out in an aesthetic fashion!!! This specimen has unique, intense color and is very showy in person!!! The crystals are much more lustrous and sharply defined than they appear in the pics!!! Absolutley gorgeous, old time material from this seldom referenced locale!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!!
