Description/Interesting Notes:
A gorgeous, old time gem-grade malachite specimen from this classic Arizona locale!!! This specimen
consists of a gorgeous mass of deep green botryoidal malachite crystals!!! The crystals show attractive, rounded
botryoidal forms across its broad face while complex forms can be seen around the sides!!! This is VERY dense, GEM grade
lapidary material that is quite characteristic in person!!! Malachite of this quality is seldom seen from any other locality and
is somewhat reminiscent of fine, old time material from Siberia!!! This is old material that likely dates to the late 19th century!!!
This specimen is from the A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum (Michigan College of Mines) and retains old museum labels as well as an old
unattributed label and its original antique glass-lined museum specimen box as well!!! Classic, historic material!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED MONDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 3-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY APRIL 11th!!!
