Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent example of malachite from Nevada!!! This specimen consists of a unique and aesthetic group of malachite crystals!!! This specimen is comprised mostly of botryoidal malachite crystals in association with a significant showing of somewhat thick, acicular malachite crystals!!! The botryoidal malachite is quite dense and heavy (reminiscent of lapidary grade material) and has an attractive multi-hued appearance!!! When viewed from the side, one can see that the botryoidal growths show a much more pronounced color-zonation than the pics show!!! Simply a magnificent, old time example of malachite from Nevada!!!
