Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific, old time example of malachite from Bisbee!!! This specimen consists of an aesthetic grouping of botryoidal malachite crystals!!! This specimen is unusually heavy and dense - classic old time lapidary grade Bisbee malachite!!! This old time specimen has one small area that has been cut to reveal just how dense it was as well as show its concentric banding!!! The high relief areas on some of the botryoids are polished as well!!! This specimen retains an old label from A. Hoffman!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
