Malachite and Tenorite after Azurite New Cornelia Mine (Ajo Mine), Ajo, Little Ajo Mts, Ajo District, Pima Co., Arizona 5.03cm x 4.47cm x 2.43cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A unique and aesthetic malachite pseudomorph from Ajo!!! This specimen consists of a gorgeous cluster of blocky azurite crystals that have been completely replaced by rich green malachite!!! The crystals are in fantastic condition and the malachite has a striking chatoyance in many areas!!! In addition to the malachite after azurite pseudomorphs, there are numerous crystals that have begun to show a third generation of pseudomorphism being replaced by black tenorite!!! Triple pseudomorphs are quite rare indeed!!! This specimen is in fantastic condition!!! The pics don't even come close to doing it justice!!!
