Description/Interesting Notes:
A gorgeous, old time classic example of malachite from the Urals!!! This specimen consists of a lively green
cluster of botryoidal malachite crystals!!! This specimen is unusually heavy and dense compared to malachite from
any other locality - this is superior, lapidary-grade malachite!!! The green color is a choice, rich, multi-hued green!!! This classic
Urals malachite was prized for its superior quality and it is quite distinctive from any other malachite!!! In person they
are immediately distinctive compared to those from other localities!!! These
old Urals malachite specimens were collected well over 100 years ago and are quite scarce today!!! This specimen
is from the A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum and retains its original label and glass-lined specimen box!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED MONDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 3-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY AUGUST 11th!!!
