Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of malachite from this famed locality!!! This specimen consists of a group of malachite stalactites that have gorgeous rich green color!!! The malachite is particularly hard, dense, lapidary grade material!!! The malachite shows a gorgeous variety of green hues an the areas of concentric banding are quite striking indeed!!! Additionally, on some areas where the concentric banding is visible there is some additional, microcrystalline growth of malachite which would imply that these are features that occured in situ!!! This specimen displays magnificently in person!!! A magnificent Bisbee old timer!!! This specimen retains an old label from the University of Missouri as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
