A gorgeous, old time example of malachite from this historic locality!!! This specimen consists of a complex mass of botryoidal malachite that
has been cut and polished on one edge!!! This classic Urals material is immediately distinctive among malachites from other localities!!! This
specimen is unusually dense and surprisingly heavy for its size!!! This classic Urals malachite is superb, gem-quality material that is
unlike malachite from any other locality in terms of its superior quality!!! This historic material was used to create the famous "Malachite Room”
in the Hermitage Museum in St Petersburg!!! This specimen exhibits a striking range of green hues and concentric patterns that is
quite showy and dynamic in person!!! In person, fine Urals malachite is immediately distinctive compared to
those from other localities!!! This specimen is from the A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum and retains its original
old label and affixed catalogue numbers!!! Old 19th century material!!! These old time Urals malachite specimens are seldom seen today!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
