Description/Interesting Notes:
A fantastic example of malachite after azurite from Tsumeb!!! This specimen consists of a sharp group of azurite crystals
that have been completely replaced by malachite!!! What makes this specimen unique is that the malachite is very chatoyant - exhibiting
intense and dynamic flashes of satiny green brilliance throughout!!! The malachite is very well crystallized and fibrous, consisting of elongated parallel
groups of crytsals upon close examination!!! For a specimen that is so fibrous and chatoyant, it is remarkable how sharp the original crystals' faces are!!!
The underside of the specimen is partially coated with tiny but well formed crystals of lustrous, sparkling cerussite!!! The pics don't even
come close to doing this unique beauty justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
