Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of malachite included quartz from Arizona!!! This specimen consists of a large, vuggy specimen that is nearly covered in malachite included quartz!!! The specimen has great, lively green color in person!!! Upon close inspection, one can see that there are a variety of quartz forms here - there is some chalcedony-like material as well as quartz microcrystals, and tiny quartz points!!! Some areas show microcrystalline coatings on tiny quartz points and there are a few small areas of glassy luster as well!!! There is a LOT going on with this specimen (there is a significant showing on the reverse as well)!!! This specimen is quite showy in person!!! The pics don't even come close to doing it justice!!!
