Malachite pseudomorph after Azurite Tsumeb, Namibia 6.5cm x 4.24cm x 3.16cm Ex. Marge Russell Collection

Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent, old time example of malachite after azurite from Tsumeb!!! This specimen hosts an impressive, doubly terminated crystal of malachite after azurite that measures over 5cm, prominently perched on matrix!!! This is OLD Tsumeb material that dates to prior to WWII!!! The crystal is complete all around and in and fantastic condition!!! The crystal exhibits prominent, dramatically elongated sprays of malachite upon close inspection!!! The individual malachite crystals produce a striking and dynamic schiller in person!!! There are several tiny crystals of azurite and malachite after azurite scattered about the matrix and there are also some darkly colored crystals of cerussite in association as well!!! This specimen is from the collection of Marge Russell and has an old unattributed catalogue number on the bottom as well!!! This is a killer old time Tsumeb beauty!!! Simply gorgeous in person!!!
