Malachite pseudomorph after Azurite Tsumeb, Namibia 6.9cm x 5.17cm x 3.1cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of malachite after azurite from Tsumeb!!! This specimen consists of a dense cluster of sharp, azurite crystals that have been compeletely replaced by malachite!!! The malachite crystals have a terrific chatoyance due to the well formed fibrous crystals within the pseudomorphs!!! There are a few tiny azurite crystals dotting the malachite pseudomorphs as well!!! The specimen is essentially a cast, with a thin layer of fine sugar-like matrix on the reverse!!! This specimen is in fantastic condition all around and displays magnificently in person!!! The pics don't even come close to doing it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
