Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific, old time combination specimen from this classic Arizona locale!!! This specimen consists of a quartz crystal-covered matrix that hosts a group of unusually blocky azurite crystals that have been completely replaced by lively green malachite and then subsequently overgrown by a layer of sparkly quartz crystals!!! There is one isolated crystal that has part of the malachite exposed and shows a somewhat fibrous habit(upon close inspection it appears that this exposed crystal may have happened in situ!)!!! The other crystals exhibit a gorgeous green hue and sparkly luster!!! This specimen is quite showy in person!!! Old material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!!
