Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of manganaxinite from Franklin!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of very well formed, bladed crystals of intense yellow-orange manganaxinite on massive garnet matrix!!! It was very difficult to show just how well crystallized this specimen was in the pictures - upon close inspection in person one can immediately see that there are numerous gem-clear, complete, undamaged crystals scattered all throughout the specimen!!! The crystals are much more numerous than the pictures show!!! Simply a magnificent example of the species!!! Old material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!!
