Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic old time example of tantalite-(Mn)from Virginia!!! This specimen consists of a large, complex, compound crystal of tantalite-(Mn)!!! The crystal exhibits a highly complex habit that almost appears to be several intergrown crystals!!! It was difficult to capture this specimen in the pictures, however it is much more crystalline and euhedral in person!!! This specimen is from the University of Delaware and has an old affixed label!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
