Description/Interesting Notes: A rare, old time example of "emerylite" with corundum from Turkey!!! This specimen consists of a complex mass of intergrown crystals of pearly margarite crystals in association with colorless corundum and quartz!!! The crystallization is much better than the pics show!!! This old time specimen is simply fascinating under close inspection!!! This specimen retains an old Schortmann's label as well (listing Turkey as "Small Asia")!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
