This specimen is from a small collection of Langban minerals I that came from old material from the Museum of Natural History in New York (please note that the
specimens do not have old labels however)!!! I will be offering all of the specimens in the next few auctions as part of "Langban Fest"!!! This material
is really great Langban material as far as I understand, but admittedly I am not an expert in this somewhat specialized area!!! If you are a Langban collector this is no doubt a unique opportunity!!! Be sure to stay tuned during the next few auctions as I will be listing a great
many more specimens!!!
A terrific example of this rare lead silicate!!! This specimen hosts areas of margarosanite (fluoresces blue) in association with other unidentified species!!! The pics
hardly do it justice - needs to be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
