Description/Interesting Notes:
An absolutely magnificent example of this very rare species from Chile!!! This specimen hosts numerous, significant crystals of marshite
in association with emerald green crystals of atacamite and paratacamite!!! The marshite crystals are present as undamaged, complex octahedral
crystals with slightly tan color and translucent clarity!!! There are contiguous crystal groups that measure 1cm and
individual crystals to 3mm!!! Although their complexity made them difficult to capture in the pics, the marshite crystals are all very well formed upon
close inspection!!! The atacamite crystals are present as elongated, blade-like crystals that have emerald green color and gemmy clarity!!! The
paratacamite crystals are quite impressive upon close inspection, having sharp pseudoctahedral habits and deep emerald green color!!! This is an AMAZING
specimen indeed!!! This specimen retains an old Paterson Museum label that notes it was acquired from Ward's in 1939!!! This is a superb example of this
very rare and highly sought after species!!! Don't miss out on this rare opportunity!!! The pics don't even come close to doing it justice!!!
