A fantastic example of this rare species from Russia!!! This locality has produced some of the most exceptional
examples of this rare species that easily rival or exceed the classic finds from Chile or Broken Hill!!! While the
cuprite specimens from this locality have been somewhat prolific, there were just a scant handful of these incredible
marshite crystals found in one small area of the mine!!! What makes this specimen so great is that, not only is it a
fine marshite specimen, it is actually a marshite crystal pseudomorph after cuprite!!! The specimen exhibits an overall
octahedral form and still hosts a small amount of reddish cuprite within!!! There is also a small amount of cuprite-coated native copper
in association as well!!! These rare and unique pseudomorphs represent truly fantastic examples of the species!!! These specimens are already all gone - don't miss out!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
