This specimen hosts numerous areas of crystalline matildite on a matrix of quartz in association with brassy pyrite!!! There is a significant cluster of sharply defined, metallic matildite crystals tucked in a small recess as well as smaller crystals scattered about the matrix as well!!! For the species this is a magnificent example, and it is simply extraordinary for the locality!!! RARE material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
