Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent, old time example of this rare lead species from the type locality in England!!! This specimen is comprised almost entirely of solid mendipite!!! The broad face of the specimen exhibits several intersecting groups of lathe-like crystals!!! The lathes of crystals are much more defined than the pictures show!!! This specimen retains old labels from Lazard Cahn and the Cilen collection as well!!! The pics don't even come close to doing this rare classic justice!!! Way better in person!!!
