Phosphosiderite (Metastrengite) with Strengite, Barbosalite & Pyrite Bull Moose Mine, Custer, Custer District, Custer Co., South Dakota 5.74cm x 4.84cm x 2.36cm Ex. W. L. Roberts

Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific combination of rare phosphates from South Dakota!!! This specimen hosts a combination of barbosalite, phosphosiderite, and strangite in a vug in a darkly colored matrix that is accented with golden areas of pyrite!!! The vug hosts several complex crystals of yellowish to lively pink phosphosiderite and a single crystal of purplish strengite in the center!!! There is a lot more going on on this specimen than the pics show!!! This specimen needs to be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! Way better in person!!!
